The best Furmint of 2013 was born in Nagy Eged
According to the communication of the Kovács Nimród Borászat (Kovács Nimród Winery), it is now two years since our 2011 vintage Nagy Eged Furmint won a Gold Medal and a Hungarian White Trophy as well as a Furmint Trophy at the International Wine Challange international wine competition.
Our wine has a great success in foreign markets, especially in America. The wine has recently debuted in Hungary, it is also available in our winery in Eger. It can be tasted the next time on Thursday at the Furmint Február (Furmint February Event).
The International Wine Challenge is Great-Britain's biggest wine competition since 1984, where the best wines are selected by a 100-member jury of international wine experts. The taste lasts almost two weeks, with the participation of tens of thousands of wines of nearly 50 countries.
