The US consumer sentiment has deteriorated
The US consumer mood index in April deteriorated more than the analysts expected, according to the regular monthly survey of the Michigan University, whose preliminary results were announced.
The consumer mood index dropped to 97.8 points from the 101.4 points of March. Analysts expected that the indicator would be 100.5 points.
Among the subindexes, the consumer expectations for the next six months dropped to 86.8 from the 88.8 points of March, while the sub-index reflecting the current situation fell from 121.2 points to 115 points. (MTI)
