An international project is underway to improve flood predictability
An international project starts under the DAREFFORT Danube River Basin Enhanced Flood Forecasting Cooperation name from more than 1.35 million euros (approximately 440 million forints).
The project aims to coordinate the information system for the river basin districts of the Danube River Basin – Gombás Károly, Leading Flood Prevention Expert at the International Danube Protection Commission (ICDPR) and coordinator of the Danube Region Strategy (PA5) said at the first professional meeting of the project in Budapest.
