Growth in retail sales accelerated in the Czech Republic
In January, the annual growth in retail sales in the Czech Republic accelerated to 8.2 percent from the 4.6 percent of December, the Czech Statistcal Office (CSÚ) announced on Thursday in Prague.
According to statisticians, the turnover of industrial consumer goods, food products and fuels has increased.
The turnover of industrial consumer goods rose 12 percent year-on-year in January, while the sales of food products by 3.5 percent and fuels by 7.5 percent – the Czech Statistcal Office (CSÚ) pointed out. (MTI, Kokes János)
