Food retailing pulled Romanian retail trade
The volume of Romanian retail sales grew by 5.4 percent in the first ten months of this year -according to the Romanian National Statistical Institute.
According to the seasonally adjusted and calendar-adjusted data, the growth was 5.9 percent.
Growth in raw data during the period under review was mainly due to food sales, which grew by 6.4 percent. Sales of non-food products grew by 6 percent and fuel sales increased by 2.9 percent. (MTI)
