Agrarian Ministers: well-thought-out water management is the foundation of agriculture in the future
Well-thought water management is the basis of future agriculture, EU agriculture ministers agreed on Tuesday in Malta, agreeing that effective cooperation between the water and agricultural sectors is essential to effectively address the growing negative impacts on climate change on water resources – the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) told MTI on Tuesday.
The informal meeting of the EU’s agriculture ministers was held on Tuesday in Malta, the EU’s presidency-in-office.
Fazekas Sándor, Minister of Agriculture, reminded in his speech that the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) currently in force contains a number of tools that are capable of reducing the effects of climate change. (MTI)
