The Agricultural Chamber continues the development of irrigation by preparing seven investments
This year, with the preparation of seven water facility projects, irrigation development will continue, with the government allocating 594 million forints – the National Agricultural Chamber (NAK) told on Friday.
According to a survey conducted last year by the Chamber, the areas to be irrigated by farmers will amount to a total of 377,000 hectares together with existing irrigation systems. This is remarkable in the light of the fact that all of the nearly five million hectares of domestic production area are irrigated on a hundred thousand hectares – NAK called attention. (MTI)
